ADRIAN ERIKSSON

Classical double bassist Adrian Eriksson is a versatile artist who has played in orchestras like the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, Verbier Festival Orchestra and Mahler Chamber Orchestra. An artist constantly seeking new ways of widening the repertoire for the bass, he also composes original works for the instrument.

CELEBRATING 150 YEARS OF RACHMANINOV ON DOUBLE BASS

 

Adrian Eriksson announces his debut album, Elégie: Rachmaninov on Double Bass. Together with pianist Henrik Kilhamn, guested by violinist Danial Shariati, Adrian is releasing a collection of transcriptions with music entirely by Rachmaninov, honouring his 150th anniversary of birth.
